Description:
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Security Technology Specialist to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for leading security technology projects, managing security systems and infrastructure, and driving operational excellence through effective project delivery, risk management and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage security technology projects from planning through to implementation and completion.
• Oversee the maintenance, optimisation and integration of security systems and technology infrastructure.
• Identify, assess and mitigate operational and security risks through effective risk management practices.
• Monitor, investigate and coordinate responses to security and technology-related incidents.
• Manage project budgets, procurement activities, contracts and vendor performance to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of new technologies, automation and system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, security and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and service providers.
• Lead, mentor and develop team members to promote operational excellence and high performance.
• Prepare technical, operational and project reports for management.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in security technology within the mining industry.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven experience managing technology or infrastructure projects, including budgeting, scheduling and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of security systems, system integration, network infrastructure and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with risk management, incident response and security technology optimisation.
